GET TO KNOW THE TEAM
Hey there, in 2018, I originally founded ThyGeekdom with a dream and vision of creating a place where my friends and I could talk about all the video games, anime, TV shows, and movies we grew up on. I identify as a 90s kid, so growing up it was first the SNES and N64 for me and then PlayStation, while watching anime on Toonami and late-night Adult Swim.
In an earlier stage of my life, I had a band and dreamed of traveling the world with my crew, but later realized I had a bigger passion for other things, which led to building the ThyGeekdom community.
Some of my favorite games include titles from the Final Fantasy (FF) series, Resident Evil, Silent Hill 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Bloodborne, NBA Jam, Metal Gear Solid, Portal 2, Half-Life 2, Thousand Arms, Flower, Undertale, Super Smash Bros., Shadow of the Colussus, Pokémon: Gold Version, and Gone Home. Favorite movies: Drive, The Departed, Pan’s Labyrinth, Pacific Rim, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Tropic Thunder, Insidious Part 1 and 2, Skyfall, and The Shining. Favorite shows: The Office, Breaking Bad, and West World. Favorite comics & manga: Kingdom Come, Uzumaki, The Sandman, Parasyte, The Wake, Ranma 1/2, and the Marvel Noir series. Favorite anime: Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Wolf’s Rain, Record of Lodoss War, Dragon Ball Z, Akira, Studio Ghibli movies, the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, Ghost in the Shell, and the Gundam series, specifically the Universal Century (UC) timeline.
Fun fact: As a 6 to 8-year-old, I wanted to be Indiana Jones when I grew up, and dressed up as him for every Halloween.
